The sample here shows a snippet of a our design for a 60 page guideline document commissioned by the Wyndham City Council.
The purpose of the guide is to provide a standard set of recommendations
and technical requirements to
discuss, plan and execute early childhood playgrounds across Wyndham.
The design features a playful colour scheme containing swatches reminiscent of those used on play equipment. The deep etched images of children interact with the upscaled geometric graphics giving the document a fun and dynamic feel.
This guide has two key audiences.
The first audience is educators,
early learning consultants,
preschool field officers, and
inclusion consultants across
Wyndham involved in the delivery
and design of early childhood
programs. These individuals can
use this guide as a professional
development resource to support
reflective conversation when
planning, designing, and building
play spaces for children.
The other beneficiary of this guide
are architects including landscape
architectural consultants who may
be subcontracted to deliver a new
Long Day Care ( LDC), Sessional
Kidnergarten, Playgroup or upgrade
an existing playspace.
