I’m Lara, a senior graphic designer and owner of Visionary Creative – a boutique graphic design studio.
I’m a friendly, versatile designer with over 15 years of experience. My extensive experience in design has helped me hone my knack for successfully translating a client’s vision into something tangible.
I produce creative content for both physical and digital channels. My clever and clean design style helps my clients connect and communicate successfully with their target audience.
I mainly service Local and State Government clients, not-for-profits and medium to large businesses.
My work can be viewed in the ‘projects’ section of the site.
I am great at time managing which means I can comply with the deadlines you have set out at the start of a project. I work diligently and efficiently throughout the project, turning around proofs and actioning your changes by the date agreed or earlier.
My aim is to be empathetic to you and understand your pain points and try and make the whole project as hassle-free as possible. I am friendly and approachable and just get the job done. I stand by my work but by no means am I precious about it, so I can take your constructive criticism.
Under my arm you’ll find an honours degree in Communication Design from Australia’s leading design school, Swinburne National Institute of Design.
I have a varied client base which means I can apply my skills to all sorts of projects. I present memorable, contemporary creative ideas that pack a punch and I get inspired by simple, minimal design that has a clever concept behind it.
I have a network of talented creative peers I can lean on should I require an extra skill set to complete a particular project. This network is made up of small business owners like myself such as animators, photographers, videographers, copywriters, web developers and graphic designers.
By hiring a freelancer like myself you have direct access to the person actually doing the work. This enables clearer communication between client and designer.
My studio runs off energy that’s provided by the sun. Thanks to some nifty solar panels my property is able to generate upto 10kw of power on a sunny day and 3/4kw on a cloudy day. The office (including lights and equipment) uses less than a 1kw to run – that’s gotta make you feel good!
Whatever is costed at the start is what is invoiced at the end so there are no surprises. Should your needs change during the course of the project (which happens) we can revisit the quote.
I want you to walk away from each project having had a positive experience so I that we can work together again!
